Roasted Chickpeas 2 Ways (VG)


I loooooove roasted chickpeas! They’re good as a crunch in your salad, as a meat replacer in your pita bread or delicious just as a snack.

This time I wanted to make two different flavors. I always make a savory one, it’s more common to use. But this time I wanted to try a sweet one too. I don’t know why I haven’t tried this before; I’m a real sweet tooth. But it is GOOD!


2 Servings



  • 1 can Chickpeas (400 gr)
  • ½ tbsp Maple syrup
  • ½ tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp Salt


  • 1 can Chickpeas (400 gr)
  • ½ tbsp Oil
  • ¼ tsp Pepper
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp Paprika Powder



  1. Drain the chickpeas and rinse.
  2. Remove all the skins from the chickpeas. I know it’s a lot of work, bit it really does help to crisp up.
  3. Season the chickpeas.
  4. Roast in airfyrer for 8-10 on 200 degrees Celsius. (Oven 20-30 min)
