Chickpeas are really a staple in my pantry. I use them at least 3 times a week. On a sandwich, roasted as a snack or even in my breakfast. They are perfect protein packed ingredient to add in any dish you like. Especially when I started to eat vegan, chickpeas were one of my go-to ingredients.
Now this recipe, it is really an easy one though. You don’t have to do much, but I like them this way. They’re better than the normal plane one, especially when you want to add an extra flavor to your salad or maybe on toast if you want to.
- 1 can Chickpeas (240g)
- 1 ½ tbsp Soy yogurt
- 1 tbsp Ketchup
- 1/8 tsp Pepper
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 1/8 tsp Garlic Powder
- ¼ tsp Paprika Powder
- Drain and rinse the chickpeas.
- Get rid off all the skins. I know it’s a little bit of work, but it def makes them better.
- Put the chickpeas in a bowl with the rest of the ingredients and mix.
And that’s it! Now go enjoy them in example like in the photo’s; on a cucumber boat. Do you have any other suggestions? Please let me know!
